Europe Trip - Day 7 *Milan Malpensa & London Gatwick*

Day 7, 23 Nov 2008

This morning, we all woke up rather early. Sad to say, it was time to say good-bye to my tour mate, as they were flying back to KL, while AL and I would continue our journey to London. Since we were going to the airport at noon time, so we spent the whole morning enjoying our breakfast in the restaurant. We talked a lot to each other, about the trip, and our lives. It's indeed a great honour to know them. After taking a group photo outside the hotel, we departed to the airport, Milan Malpensa. The coach dropped both of us at Terminal 2, the domestic airport. We felt heavy hearted when the coach left, and those friends waving their hands to us in the coach. It's alright, plenty of chances to meet up when we are in Malaysia!

Our flight to London Gatwick would depart at 6pm. Since there were nothing much to see in the airport, so we both spent most of our time planning for the Paris trip. At about 3pm, our tummy started grumbling. And guess what, we both ate the yummy Maggie mee in curry flavour!! Ha, kind of miss the taste after the Italian meal for one whole week. Also, I bit my favourite chocolate bar. Before we went on board, we had one final Tomato Pizza at the food court.

After checking in, we still managed to squeeze a little time for last minute shopping. I bought a nice leather bag, but I ended up giving it to my grandma as gift.. sob sob...

Easyjet was like Airasia. A budget airline, but the condition of the aircraft was good. Needless to say, plenty of humans queing to go on board, and it was free sitting. Before we stepped our feet into the plane, we took a last breath of Milan's air. Feeling very excited, as there were so many things to be expected from UK. The journey was 2 hours, I was very tired, but had diffculty falling asleep.

When we landed, everything was smooth. So we took the EasyBus to Fulham Broadway Underground station. It was really cheap as we booked the ticket quite early, only GBP2 per person :) We reached our destination in less than an hour. London was freezing cold, as that night, the wind was quite strong. While waiting for DT to pick us up, I bought a 3-Day Travel Card, and had a little survey on the route.

Initially, DT planned to take us to KFC for supper. But sometimes, thing just doesnt go your way. DT was queing for about 20 minutes, and when it was our turn, the waitor told us, "Sorry, no more chicken!!!!!!!!" Ok, this is very fine. So we ended up cooking noodle in DT's kitchen. After the meal, I went straight to bed, as I was exhausted.
