China - Day9 *Zhou Zhuang*

27 Nov 2010

Another day trip, though I was still seriously sick. There were 12 tourists joining this tour to Zhou Zhuang, however, we were all squeezed in a van :( The trip was basically fun, the tour guide was a nice lady, expect the van!!!

Zhou Zhuang was built in 1086, and it was a very well known water town in China, located at south of Yangtze River. I enjoyed the elegant water town scenery, unique culture, and unsophisticated folk custom. All streets and towns were built along the river, and connected by bridges. In Zhou Zhuang, the spots not to be missed were such as Shen's House, Zhang;s House, Ancient Platform, Zhenfeng Street and museums.
