Chanel Chevron... I just couldn't resist her!!!

This stunning little evil is really creating a havoc of my life. Just when I'm considering real hard whether I should get the Cocoon or not, and there the Chevron comes. A big dilemma of 2010. I'm always looking for a Chanel bag which I can bring it for travelling purpose, to fit in all the necessity such as drinking bottle, umbrella, wallet, medicine, and better still, my sweater. It seems like Cocoon can handle this better than Chevron. However, Chevron, is too classy to be resisted, and she brings me sleepless night.

Now that my heart has fall for Chevron, the question is where should I get it? Singapore? Hong Kong? Or probably I should wait until my trip to Japan in June? Most importantly, this is a Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, and I really worry that there's no more stock by June.

Not done yet... What type of skin should I choose? Patent Leather or Lamb Skin? What colour? Black or Red or Blue? What size? Medium or Jumbo? OMG......................

Macau - Day 6 *Bye!*

Day 6, 07 Dec 09

This morning was really a tiring one as we had to reach the port before 4am to catch the vessel back to Macau. WC's flight was around 9am, so ample time was needed in order not to miss the flight. This time, we were sitting in the Premier Class on the upper deck, and was more comfortable compared to the previous journey.

It was around 6.30am when we reached Macau. Needless to say, the weather was freaking cold, and raining too. I couldnt stop shivering while waiting for the taxi to the airport. As my eyes were really too heavy, and I felt kind of dizzy, so I slept on the airport sofa for about an hour. After WC checked in and went into the departure hall, I deposited my luggage at the baggage drop counter. Me and mum planned to go to the town to buy some local products, and also have our lunch there. Since the free shuttle bus will only operate around 11am, so we took the public bus instead.

At Senado Square, we had a nice and warm breakfast at a restaurant.

The porridge and teh si was indeed too good for such a cold weather

Then, we walked to Ruin of St Paul, the so-called "Free Food Testing" Street to buy the local goodies. We bought a lot, such as biscuits, eggtarts, pork chop buns and other local food. We could have bought even more if it wasn't raining. I also grabbed this final opportunity to test the famous ice-cream, Seradura, despite the freezing weather. It was vanilla flavour, and mixed with biscuit crunch inside. Then, I also bought a pair of specs for HY.

Nice specs

After all was done, we took the cab back to the airport again. The flight was around 7pm in the evening.

Waiting for Flight

Halfway in the flight, I was getting hungry. Unfortunately, all the inflight meal was sold out except noodle cup. Since I pre-booked Nasi Lemak for mum, so she was eating happily. Without a single choice, I bought the noodle cup. Everything is nice when u are hungry! Apart from this, nothing interesting about the flight.

It was indeed good to be home, and I slept until 1pm the next day!

HK - Day 5 *Lantau Island*

Day 5, 06 Dec 09

It's the fifth day of my trip. On the previous night, we just decided to go Lantau Island for today. Before the trip, of course a stomach-filling breakfast was essential. We had another yummy HK breakfast, my favourite Teh Si.

Mum's Oat Porridge & Soya Bean Milk

Luncheon Meat, Eggs, Sandwich, Toast........

To go to Lantau Island, we took the MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central, and interchange to Tung Chung, which took about an hour as it was really far. When we arrived, mum was having stomachache, so we went into Citygate Outlet for the toilet. While waiting for her, I took a sneak preview in MNG, and ended up mum was the one who was buying after she settled her feaces. We all exercised strict self-control for not entering other shops, as it was really troublesome to carry all the things to Ngong Ping.

To get up the cable car was indeed a long queue. And today was very windy... I wanted to buy the ticket for Crystal Cabin, which has a huge transparent glass underneath the cable car, and it gave u a feeling of flying in the cloud. However, the vote was 2 to 1, of course WC and mum wouldn't even dare to think about it. Nevermind, dropped the idea then, so I ended up buying the ticket for normal cable car, HKD107 for round trips. For those who has phobia in height, it is not advisable to take this cable car, as it took about 30 minutes, 5.7km with freaking high view.

While inside the cable car, u could enjoy the great view of South China Sea, the glassland of North Lantau Country Park, Hong Kong International Airport, Tian Tan Buddha Statue and 360-degree view of the Ngong Ping Plateau.

Freak u out! WC could hardly utter a word throughout the journey. She was too frightened... OMG! But I was busy taking pics, enjoying the scenery & cool breeze.

Tian Tan Buddha Statue

Upon arrival at the cable car station, we walked to Ngong Ping Village. The setting was ancient Tang's Dynasty. This cultural themed village has other attractions such as Tea House and Theatre. We bought a mixed gelato which costs HKD$30!! Then, we walked towards the back part to Tian Tan Buddha Statue.

Are u ready?

Nice Mountain View

Bingo! 278 Steps

After coming down, WC and mum went to a temple for prayers. I was waiting for them under a shade, and it was rather cold. At about 4pm, we took the cable car and went back to the ground station. And of course, it was shopping time at Citygate Outlet! We really swept a lot here, such as Coach, Crocs, Nike, Adidas, MNG etc.

At about 6pm, we took the MTR to Central, and interchange to Causeway Bay. The dinner tonight was at the food court in Timesquare.

We returned to Tsim Sha Tsui at 9pm. Before heading back to hotel, we went across to Avenue of Star for night view, and also last round of shopping at Sasa and Bonjour.

HK - Day 4 *Ocean Park*

Day 4, 05 Dec 09

I really love the breakfast this morning. It was a typical HK style restaurant located at a corner of Nathan Road, about 10 minutes walk from our hotel. The pics below tell everything:

Best Teh-Si & Yin-Yong ever!!!

Polo-Bun, Sandwich & Egg

Ham Macaroni & Chu-Zai Pao (Piggy bun)

A satisfying breakfast was indeed a great move of the day. From Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, we headed to Admiralty. Then, took the double decker bus No. 629 to Ocean Park. The entrance ticket could be bought at the booth there, very convenient and hassle free.

Upon the arrival at Ocean Park, I think WC was the most excited one. I didnt have a wavy feeling as this was my 2nd visit. The 1st visit in 2007 was not a memorable one, as we didnt have enough time for everything, and it was raining cats and dogs! So I just hope that I could have a complete visit this time.

We took the escalator, known Tai Shue Wan Escalator, a really long one, all the way up to the top. First activity of the day was the Mine Train. I screamed my lungs out, though it was not really a thrilling one. Just a way of releasing myself!

Flamingo Pond welcomes u to Ocean Park

Spectacular View of HK from Ocean Park. The shade in the pic was part of the escalator.

After seeing the seals at Pacific Pier, we proceeded to Ocean Theater for Dolphin's Show. My first visit was really a nightmare when we were watching this show, as it was raining, and too crowded. Since we were sitting at the side and there was no shade, basically I was holding the umbrella for the entire show. The show as scheduled was delayed due to heavy downpour. We wasted more than 2 hours just to watch this show. But this time was a perfect one! :)

Ocean Theater

After the show, we went to the aquarium - Atoll Reef.

Lovely Nemos

A super-thick lips fish to simulate HY's sexy lips... Hahaha....

Giant Turtle

Next activities were Ferris Wheel & The Abyss. The Abyss was turbo drop, the routine game that I would go up, alone as usual. No one would ever accompany me for this. But I simply love it, so I won't miss it in any theme park. After we got all these done, we had our lunch bite - some sandwiches, buns and ice-cream. Before heading to the cable car station, we went to Sea Jelly Spectacular.

Jelly Fish

Inside the Cable Car, going down...

Nice View from the cable car

Needless to say, the first spot we visited was the Panda Habitat, as WC couldn't wait to see the so-called kawaii pandas!

Xmas Deco

Panda, I don't think that it is even close to "cute" at all~~

It was peeing & shitting to the wall.... What a good manner!

Next was "Amazing Asian Animals". Quite a number of animals there, but too bad I couldn't remember their names. WC and mum also went to see the gold fish, but I was too tired to walk, so I sat on the bench and waited for them. We left Ocean Park at about 4pm after eating the siu mai.

Cat? Fox?

Stone Fish

Everyone was rushing out to get the bus

It was about 5pm when we reached Pacific Fair, so we took a sneak preview inside. At about 6pm, we went back to Tsim Sha Tsui to watch the fireworks at Victoria Harbour, as today was the Opening Ceremony of East Asean Games. Sounds excited? More story to go..... When we were at Tsim Sha Tsui, the crowd was really frightening. Without knowing what to eat, we ended up in Mc Donalds.

It's all PORKS!

We planned to walk across to Victoria Harbour after the dinner. But too bad, the road was already blocked. The only way was to use the underground subway, and follow the police's instruction in order to cross over. Afraid that we would be starving, we bought a giant bun from a bakery while we were inside the subway, full of human inside too. The most horrible part was to walk up the escalator, as u need to squeeze through the crowd in order to step your feet onto the escalator platform. In the end, we succeeded. However, we could not move any closer to Victoria Harbour as it was already full. So we waited outside the Hong Kong Museum of Art, just 500m away from Avenue of Star.

Quiet Salisbury Road... It was blocked!

Just look at those humans

We waited from 8pm until 9.30pm....... Freezing to cold, and I almost buried by head into my Gucci Bag... But it was worth waiting, as the fireworks were really amazing!! And we could rarely get this opportunity to witness such an event.

Firework... here it comes!

Happy Ending, and the crowds were cheering

After the fireworks, we waited for another 20 minutes in order to move back. Again, just listen to the police's instruction and u could reach your destination. Very systematic and organised.

Our supper - HK roasted Chicken + Cha Siew, Yakult Drink & the Giant Bun bought at the subway.
