Malacca City of Historic - Day 1

09 June 2010

Before flying over to Japan, HY and I had a very short trip in Malacca. It was a very relaxing trip, mainly hunting for food, and visiting to the historical sites. We took the bus from Bukit Jalil to Malacca Central, which was about 1 hour & 30 minutes.

After checking in at Equatorial Hotel, we walked to the famous historical spot - A Famosa, which was only a stone throw from the hotel. It was not fun walking under the hot scorching sun, but HY seems to be enjoying himself so much, and was so busy taking pics... ops!

After getting down from St Paul Hill, we proceeded to Christ Church.

Next, Jonker Street to kill our hunger. First stop was to try the ever famous Chicken Rice Balls at Chung Wah Coffee Shop. When we were there, the queue was not too bad, but it was under the hot sun. So I asked HY, to eat or not to eat. Of course the answer is yes! Alright, so we started queuing, and after that, the queue was getting ridiculously long. We waited for about 30 minutes, and had to share a table with another 4 people.

In the evening, we had dinner at a Hong Kong Restaurant at Dataran Pahlawan Shopping Mall. Nothing impressive at all. We went back to hotel after watching Prince of Persia at GSC Cinema.
