Salvatore Ferragamo Classic Heels
If you are reading my blog, I bet you know I seriously have trouble whenever I want to hunt for a pair of Designer’s Shoes. My feet was too small, and normally the size available is size 5 (35), but I need size 4 (34). The very first pair of mine, was hunt successfully in Chanel Singapore Ngee Ann City, followed by the 2nd pair in Gucci Taipei 101.
But what I always wanted, is the classic Vara Bow Pump by Salvatore Ferragamo. I failed to hunt any pairs, for 2 years. My heart was so drown whenever I pay a visit to any Ferragamo stores. Until…. This recent getaway trip to Singapore. This was indeed a very last minute planning, as HY was there for business, so I booked by ticket and met him there.
After checking in at Marina Bay Sands, I had the time all for myself. Firstly, I went to Hermes, and thereafter to Ferragamo. My hope was totally zero, as the disappointment I’ve experienced was no longer a new story.
I was standing in front of the displayed shoes, with a blank mind. One SA approached me. I asked her, if she was able to check the system to see which kind of design was available in size 4. She told me that it was possible, and she went in. After a while, she came out with a box, size 4.5, I tried it on but a bit lose for me. It wasn’t possible to add a padding as it was open-toe.
After that, she went in again, and this time, she came out with another 2 boxes of shoes. And yes, this was exactly what I’ve been looking for, the Classic Vara Bow pump. And surprisingly, it fits me so well even it was size 4.5 :) I was on the cloud, and that was really a precious moment. Another pair was a plat pump, and I wasn’t interested in it.
Later, I asked her again, if there are anymore shoes available in this size, can be in any design and pattern. I bet she was really a good hunter, and came out with another 5 boxes of shoes… Oh My God, I never experience this in any Ferragamo stores. And yes, I grabbed another pair of Glory Suede Heels.
Sereni & Shentel Collection
Recently, I fall in love with the headbands from Sereni & Shentel. Previously I have to admit that I wasn't really a girl who is into headband. But now, I always "decorate" my hair with their headband before going out. And it really looks good. Feel free to browse through their online page, and there are more than 20 series readily for you. From the classic Block Party, Blair, to the sweet Ice Ice Baby, or something as bold as Bow Down, and Zamunda. You can even custom make the Block Party and Blair. I'm sure you'll love them!
Here are part of my collections.

Balenciaga Fall Winter 2012 Colour Chart
Here comes the New Colour Chart for Balenciaga Fall Winter 2012. Are you excited? Ready to grab one? I particularly love Mangue, which is very close to my Orange Brulee from Taipei. Or you can refer to the 2011 Colour Chart.

My Hermès, again!
One Friday evening, fly down to SG for weekend getaway.
After checking in at MBS hotel, I had a stroll at MBS shoppes, alone. DH was
busy with his business stuff so I had the time all for myself. Hopped into Hermes, I was like a lost sheep. My mind was full of impossible items. There
comes a nice SA, and I asked her if Picotin was available. As expected, nothing
was in stock. I tried on the belt instead, but the size was a little too tight,
and it was one and only piece left. She went into the storeroom to search for a
bigger size, but came out empty handed.
It was 8.30pm, and I was the only customer in the
store. Then, I started to chit chat with
her regarding the stocks. She told me a very funny statement – Kelly &
Birkin were no longer in waitlist, but in everyone’s “wishlist” instead!” A
bitter-sweet truth. She was indeed a very nice and frank SA, I could sense it
during our conversation.
And suddenly, I popped out one question, which was buried
inside me since long ago.
“Do you actually help to take reservation for Lindy? I know
this bag is of high demand too.” Out of my expectation, she actually said yes. I
asked her how long would be the wait? Could it be few months, half a year, or
even longer? She just gave me an uncertain smile. She also be frank and told me
that she had a few customers who were asking for Lindy. So, after telling her the colour I want, I left my name and contact number with her, and politely thanked her for the nice chat. I also reserved a belt.
I didn’t put in any high hope, as I afraid that piece of
paper will be ended up in the dustbin.
After 3 days, yes exactly 3 days, she called me. My mind was
totally blank with this surprise call.
My Lindy 30 was arrived! So does the Constance Belt!
The rest isn’t important anymore………………….
