Day 6, 28 Dec 09
At first, HY was uncertain whether we should be heading to Byron Bay or not. It is because, we could not locate it in the GPS. Byron Bay was located at the north of New South Wales. Since it was a famous tourist spot, there must be proper road signs as guidance. Actually I did ask about it at the Tourist Information Counter at Harbour Town. The lady told me, just follow M1 Motorways, and we couldn't miss the road sign.
After convincing HY, we all agreed to give it a try. The GPS started to lose track when we passed by Gold Coast. Luckily, the road sign was clear enough to lead us to the destination.
Cute ducky sign
Byron Bay, here we are!

My Snack - Maple Crumble @ Brumby
Then, we drove up to Cape Byron, a spectacular spot. We were lucky enough to get a parking space up there. It was really windy, and luckily the sun was not strong as it was a little cloudy.
Cape Byron Light House
Nice Ocean... Many of them saw the dolphins but I couldn't spot any :(
Keep walking...
This is really a good form of physical activities! Walking all the way down
We also had a swimming session at Clarkes Beach on our way down from the light house. Since it was already 4pm, together with the cloudy weather, this would be the best to prevent any further sunburnt issue. We really had a great time here, jumping in the waves.
Clarkes Beach, the seawater was freezing cold, and the strong wind kept blowing
Late in the evening, on our way back to Brisbane. Everyone was exhausted.
Tonight, we all had our dinner at Gong's Korean Restaurant with TM. After the dinner, we went up to Mt Cootha.
Vege Hotpot
Sausages Hotpot
BBQ Beef
Very Tempting... Yum yum
